Internal Evaluation: as per university examination norms. End Term Practical Examination: as per university examination norms.
Course outcomes
- Explain the fundamentals of engineering drawing, drawing standards, dimensioning techniques, and prepare basic 2D drawings using AutoCAD commands. [K2]
- Apply the principles of projection to develop orthographic projections and sectional views of engineering components using AutoCAD. [K3]
- Construct orthographic projections and sectional views of engineering components using first-angle and third-angle projection methods and AutoCAD modification commands.[K3]
- Develop surface developments of engineering solids and produce complete engineering drawings incorporating dimensioning, annotations, plotting, and 3D modelling techniques using AutoCAD. [K4]
